Kids are little bundles of energy and they don’t think twice before running around, jumping off sofas, pushing and pulling stuff etc.  Do we ever stop to think if they are doing it right? Small things like, are they walking and running with their feet together, are they learning to jump off without hurting their knees in the long run etc … SportsGURU teaches all this and much more.

We used to play outside on the roads as we grew up. Now most of our children are playing at home or in confined spaces. SportsGURU works on the imagination of the child, and helps them play the real games and learn to be healthy despite the restriction in spaces.

Adding to the list of parental worries is the easy availability of junk food. Quick and tasty for the kids, but resulting in larger waistlines early on.  We are already facing issues of child obesity, early onset of puberty etc.  SportsGURU teaches the kids that health and fitness are important from the early stages of their life. The earlier the children start it becomes a habit for life, just like brushing your teeth.

Most important of them all, it is said that kids tend to laugh aloud at least 300 times a day and when they become adults it comes down to as low as 3 times a day!!

We design the class specifically to the age group and ensure either 1 or 2 coaches are present for class.

Quality of the coaches: Our team is a perfect combination of  physiotherapists,physical educators & sportsperson . They are all CPR certified therefore your children are in very safe hands.

Content of the program: The program has been built specifically for the respective age groups. From the kind of instruction to the equipment used, we customize to the age group.

Feedback about the program: We will keep you posted about the sport / fitness activity done in class every week by e-mail so it helps you build a conversation with the child.

Equipment used: The safest and the best quality imported equipments are used by us. Most of the times we bring in individual equipment for the kids so they can maximize useful play time during class. Kids will love the equipment and you will too … We have a great time playing with it!

Our objective is to provide a fun ‘n’ friendly introduction to sport and fitness at an early age, thus building healthy habits early. Up to the age of 6, normally the children are physically and mentally ready to handle the rigor of training for sport professionally. But they naturally have individual body skills which if honed well, will help them stand apart.  

From the parent’s perspective, the child is already a superstar and we think that is true. We help you identify the traits in your child that he / she has and therefore helps identify a physical activity which he / she will naturally excel in. This will build not only basic skills like Gross Motor Skills, Eye- Hand Coordination etc, but also will help them understand the importance of team play, structured exercise, listening and following instruction etc.

Whoa! That’s a lot for one program right !!

Two parts to this answer:

  • For one, when kids really have fun, they remember what they did … We had a father of child who is a leading child psychologist himself explain this to us. Well, I guess it is true, we still remember the happiest memories of our childhood right?
